Primary 4 – Road to Stopover: First Aid Kit

P4 students joined a First Aid Kit short simulation as one of Stopover preparations. It was conducted at the classroom with Coach Jeka as the facilitator. The purpose of this simulation was to inform students how to firstly deal with certain cases such as minor burned scar, nose bleeding and sprained joints.

First, Coach Jeka informed P4 students the ways which we could do to help themselves or friends when they had minor burned scar, nose bleeding and sprained joints. Providing the knowledge and showing how to treat them would help the students in case of emergency. Coach Jeka also explained that by doing the First Aid Kit correctly, we could avoid the worse effect from the accidents. P4 students listened attentively and joined the class discussion actively.

Introducing them to the first aid kit for cases which are commonly happen in their surroundings would help the students for doing the correct thing in case of emergency. This is also to educate the students how to be independent, self-control and self-awareness, the values which will be stimulated through Stopover.
