Primary 4 – Maths 3D Shapes: Tiny Version
In their Mathematics class, P4 students adapted the “Tiny Version” activity from Boundless Mathematics. Working in pairs, they took on the challenge of creating miniature versions of 3D objects.
Before starting their projects, students researched different types of 3D objects online to gather inspiration. They then planned their materials, assigned tasks, and organized their approach with their partners. Through this process, they learned valuable skills in project planning and decision-making, as well as the importance of teamwork and effective communication.
The students were highly enthusiastic, bringing boundless creativity to their projects as they carefully crafted their mini 3D models. This activity not only reinforced their understanding of 3D shapes but also helped them build collaboration skills and a sense of responsibility. ***
