Primary 4 – IPC: My Imaginary Rainforest

Primary 4 – IPC: My Imaginary Rainforest

In their IPC class, P4 students dove into the fascinating world of rainforests. For their entry point, they watched an engaging video that brought the rainforest to life—showing its lush greenery, the diverse sounds, and the many animals that call it home. They also viewed a video about rainforest destruction, giving them a clear understanding of the environmental challenges rainforests face today.

For the next lesson, the students had the chance to get creative. Using materials they gathered from home—like used cardboard, bottles, cotton, and other everyday items—they built their own miniature rainforests. They cut, glued, colored, and transformed these items into vibrant representations of rainforest ecosystems. Through this hands-on project, the students not only learned about rainforest components but also demonstrated their creativity and resourcefulness. Their incredible creations reflected both their growing knowledge and their excitement about protecting these vital ecosystems. ***
