Primary 3 – Orientation: Let’s Visit the Library

On Monday, 21 July 2025 P3 students were given a chance to have their first library visit this academic year since they had not got any scheduled library visit when they were in Primary two. They were so excited having the visit.

During the visit, Bu Enny, the librarian, shared to the students some information related to what they should and should not do in the library. They listened to Bu Enny’s explanation attentively and eagerly asked some questions related to the information given. After the session with Bu Enny, they were given a chance to explore the library and choose books they would like to read.

They spent some time reading with their friends and were so excited about sharing to the story and information they had just read. They couldn’t wait to have another library visit in August when they will be able to visit and borrow some books during their snack and lunch time as well as during their scheduled reading program.

Visiting the library is an interesting activity for the students. Not only did it increase the students’ interest in reading but also it builds the students’ awareness of how to love and take a good care of books. It is expected that within the year, the students will develop a stronger reading habit that will further help them grow into critical thinkers and learners. ***
