Primary 3: Healthy Brain, Better Learning

In this activity, P3 students recalled their prior learning about the human brain, including its parts, functions, and how it influences their daily learning. They also reviewed important facts about how to take care of the brain so that it stays healthy and functions optimally. This knowledge became the foundation for their next task.

The process of the activity involved students creating an individual mini booklet. Inside the booklet, they wrote about the different parts of the brain, explained how each part works, and connected it to their learning process. The aim of this task was to help students organize information, deepen their understanding, and apply their knowledge in a creative way.

Through this activity, students practiced analyzing the connection between brain functions and their own learning experiences. They were also able to recognize the importance of keeping their brain healthy and how certain habits affect their brain performance. The result was not only a completed booklet but also an increased awareness of the link between knowledge and personal habits.

The impact of this activity extends beyond the classroom. By reflecting on their learning, students could connect the information with their real-life routines, such as sleeping well, eating healthy food, and managing stress. This reflection encourages them to take responsibility for their brain health, reinforcing the idea that what they learn in school can guide and improve the way they live every day. ***
