Primary 3 – Computer: Click, Type, Create! Journey of Learning Ms. Word
P3 students learned about how to use a computer effectively. They explored basic computer functions such as creating folders, opening and finding documents, and using Microsoft Word. This activity introduced them to essential tools that support their writing and digital literacy skills.
Students practiced opening a new document, learning how to adjust fonts, use bold, italic, underline, and experiment with font effects and alignment. To apply their new skills, they wrote a short text about their identity, hobbies, and favorite food. Finally, they learned how to save their document, understanding the importance of organizing their digital paperwork.
By learning these computer skills, students became more confident in using technology as a tool for learning and creativity. The process helped them understand that technology is not only for entertainment but also for expressing ideas and organizing thoughts clearly. As a result, they built a stronger foundation in both digital and writing skills.
These experiences will have a lasting impact as students grow into independent learners who can use technology responsibly and effectively. Learning these skills early helps prepare them for future academic and real-world challenges, where digital competence and critical thinking are quickly evolve. ***
