Primary 2 – Character Building: From Our Hearts to Yours
Primary 2 students had a special activity about being respectful. They learnt about showing appreciation and saying thank you. As part of this activity, they made thank-you pop-up cards for their moms and dads.
The students were excited to make the pop-up cards. They used various colourful markers and art paper of their choices. They wrote thank-you note to their parents for all their love and help. Many of them also drew pictures.
This activity was not only about writing a note but also helped the students appreciate and respect their parents. By thinking about what their parents do for them, hopefully they understand how much their parents’ care and sacrifice. This helps them strengthen bounding and feel closer to their families.
It is important for students to learn to be thankful since young age. It shows them that saying thank you can make people happier and help them have better relationship. Moreover, making these cards was a good way to learn about being respectful and thankful. ***
