Primary 1 – Maths: Selling and Buying with Money
In Mathematics, Primary 1 students learned about what money is, its function, and also its form. Students were directed to make wallets and cut-out money stickers to be kept inside as their own.
After that, students were exposed to the concept of selling and buying something using money in a fun and simple way by having “Shopping Bags” to reduce the use of plastic when shopping. Buying and selling using money might become a new experience for them. However, it is important to introduce them to this activity so that they can be wise in using money in the future. ***
