Primary 1 – Maths: Learning Addition within 20
P1 Mathematics learning in Semester 2 started with memorizing numbers from 1-20 using the song “Numbers 1 to 20”. Then the students learned new knowledge about addition using a number line. At the beginning of the meeting, the students made their number line. Then the teacher asked some additional questions using the game “Stick the rabbits”.
Using a number line, students work together with their friends to answer questions by sticking rabbit stickers of the right color to match the numbers. The pupils were very happy to learn addition in a fun and practical way. ***
