Primary 1 – L-Fest: Wall of Fame
This Monday was an exciting start to our L-Fest celebration, and the students joined in with great creativity and enthusiasm. To begin the week, they worked together to make decorations for the Wall of Fame, a special area where their talents and confidence can shine.
For the first activity, each student made their own L-Fest card. On the card, they drew a picture of themselves and wrote a positive L-Fest quote such as “I am an L-Fest Superstar!” The classroom was full of excitement as students showed their personalities and shared their ideas through drawing and writing.
This activity was not only fun but also helped students build important long-term skills. By drawing themselves and writing positive messages, they strengthened their confidence and learned to see themselves in a positive way. The activity also encouraged creativity, communication, and imagination skills that will support their learning in every subject. When their work was displayed on the Wall of Fame, students felt proud, appreciated, and more connected to the school community. Most importantly, this activity helped them develop a growth mindset, reminding them that they are capable, special, and worth celebrating during L-Fest and beyond. ***
