Primary 1 – Integrated Learning: Get Closer to Primary Building
It was such a wonderful day to welcome the EY2 students to the Primary Building. P1 had the opportunity to introduce the Primary buildings and also the school routines to the EY2 students. At this time, students from both levels were exposed to the video of P1 activities.
They then met the Skypper, the aeroplane, and the pilot who told a story about how the aeroplane moves. The EY2 students then visited the P1 classroom to make a flying straw plane. They made it with enthusiasm and were able to follow the instructions carefully. After making the flying straw plane, the students had the opportunity to land it in the hula hoop set up in the multi-purpose playground. It was such a challenging moment for them as they had to blow and land the plane on the target.
Oh wait… that was not the end of the activity. The EY2 students also had a school tour of the primary building. After the tour, they went back to the EYP building. All of us were happy to enjoy this moment, especially the P1 and EY2 students. Thank you EY2 for coming. ***
