Primary 1 and Primary 5: School Vaccination Day
Today, Focus Independent School held a Vaccination Day facilitated by Puskesmas Manahan 1 as part of our commitment to keeping students healthy and protected. Vaccination is one of the most effective ways to prevent illnesses and ensure children can grow and learn in a safe environment.
On this occasion, Primary 1 students received the MMR vaccine, which protects them from measles, mumps, and rubella, while Primary 5 girls were given the HPV vaccine to help protect them from certain infections when they grow older. Before the vaccinations began, the nurses reminded everyone that vaccines are safe and play a vital role in maintaining the health of our school community.
The program ran smoothly, and many students showed great courage during their vaccinations. Although a few felt a little nervous, they bravely faced the moment and inspired others with their resilience. We are truly proud of our students. Healthy kids, safe future—good job, Kiddos! ***
