Prep Class – Fine Motor: Transferring Pom pom

Students from the Preparation Class took part in a fine motor development activity conducted in the classroom. Using tweezers, the students practiced transferring colorful pompoms from one container to another in a fun and engaging way. This activity aimed to improve students’ hand strength, grip control, and coordination. By carefully picking up and placing the small pompoms, they developed better precision and focus—important elements of early fine motor skill development.

Activities like this lay the groundwork for future tasks such as writing, cutting, and self-care routines. The repetitive, controlled movement helps students become more confident and independent in using their hands for everyday activities. ***
