
Nursery – Outing class: Meet the Police Officers; our real-life heroes
As part of their ongoing exploration of To the Rescue theme, Nursery students visited the police station at Polresta Surakarta to meet real-life heroes; the police officers. During the visit, the students had the opportunity to interact with the officers, observe their roles, and explore the equipment and vehicles used in their daily duties as well as gained valuable knowledge about discipline, the importance of following rules, and taking responsibility. Moreover, the students enjoyed hands-on experiences by practicing what they learned, such as wearing helmets, crossing the road safely, and riding in the police car.
This exciting experience allowed the students to connect their learning to real-world situations and reinforce their understanding of real-life heroes. It also helped them develop their communication skills, boost their confidence in public spaces, and learn how to interact with others respectfully.
Further, the knowledge they gained from the visit will be beneficial for their future. By learning about safety rules, discipline, and responsibility, the students are building a strong foundation for becoming responsible individuals. The experience not only enriched their understanding of the police officers’ roles but also taught them important life skills that they can apply in their daily lives. This memorable visit will inspire the students to respect others, follow rules, and contribute positively to their community as they grow.
