Nursery – Exit Point: Community Service activity
As the exit point of Once Upon a Time theme, Nursery students conducted a community service activity by sharing story with other classes. They divided into groups and performed The Three Billy Goats Gruff story. Some students took on the roles of the characters, including the troll, the big goat, the medium goat, and the small goat, while others contributed as musicians, adding sound effects and background music to enhance the performance.
Apart of celebration, this activity allowed students to express what they have learned. They were very excited performing the story they had previously watched and listened to during the theme. By doing so, it allowed them to bring the story to life, show their understanding, creativity, confidence and encourage teamwork.
Additionally, this experience not only developed important life skills, but also allowed students to contribute to their community.
