Nursery – Entry Point: To the Rescue
Entering the new theme “To the Rescue”, the students in nursery level were taken to experience a quest and sensory stimulus during the Entry Point.
To begin the activity of Entry Point, students were left with a letter from Mighty Freeze saying sorry for what he did last year. As he expressed his apology, he wanted to give a present for the students. Yet, he wanted the curious little learners to seek for the gift by following the trail of snowlflakes that he left.
Following the trail, the students get to the spot where the Mighty Freeze has left the gift, its a cold muddy place. Opening the present, students were given many collection of real life superhero equipment toys such as ambulance, police car, fire engine, etc. To continue with, students then be introduced to vocabulary through fun racing game.
The mysterious yet fun entrance of the theme was aimed to trigger students’ eagerness, engagement and curiosity to learn further about real life superheroes.
