Nursery: Boundless Math 2025 for Humanity
The shared activities, laughter, and joy can create a positive emotional connection, teaching children that sharing can be a source of happiness for everyone involved. At the initial stage of the *Boundless Mathematics for Charity 2025* program, Nursery students were introduced to the three orphanages that would receive their donations: Panti Asuhan Hati Tulus Orphanage, Panti Asuhan Gunungan, and Panti Wreda Aisyiyah. After listening to the teacher’s storytelling, the students engaged in a guided discussion to nurture their empathy by responding to meaningful questions. They then expressed their understanding through art creations inspired by the three orphanage locations.
The students showed great enthusiasm as they answered questions and expressed their readiness to help. Learning to share with orphans strengthened their understanding of empathy, cooperation, and fairness, while also building important social skills. This experience offered them a tangible way to practice kindness and understand community values by acknowledging that others may live in different circumstances. It also allowed them to connect with people from diverse backgrounds, helping them grow into more socially aware and compassionate individuals. ***
