FIS Workshop in PGSD Sanata Dharma University
FIS is cordially invited to participate in events preparing for students MBKM (Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka) in PGSD, Sanata Dharma University Jogjakarta. Not only FIS was invited to symbolically accept students sent to schools but also to prepare the students with related workshops for the necessary knowledge.
On August 4, 2023, FIS LC sent 3 of its team to attend the event. Ms. Lidwina, Mr. Kris, and Mr. Yoga were assigned to be at Sanata Dharma University (USD). This event strengthens FIS-USD relations in terms of improving learning and providing better education services.
Ms. Lidwina facilitated a 2-hour workshop on International Mindedness. Active discussion on the topic of International Mindedness will equip the university students to participate in teaching-assistance programs in schools with unique characteristics, just like FIS. International mindedness is expected to be one of the characteristics and values that will enable PGSD students to learn better in the MBKM programs wherever they are.
Meanwhile, closing the agenda, Mr. Kris delivered a speech on welcoming PGSD students assigned to schools. FIS is appointed as the representative of USD’s school partners to deliver the speech. In the speech, Mr. Kris emphasized students of PGSD to establish healthy relationships while learning in the appointed schools. FIS is proud to be involved and invited to this event. ***
