FIS – PG PAUD UNS on Seminar Layanan Karir Mahasiswa
In cooperation with PG PAUD UNS, FIS assigned its valuable teacher to be the guest speaker of a Seminar on Professional Development. The event entitled “Pengembangan Profesionalisme Guru Internasional”. On March 26, 2024, Hana Theodora Tito (Ms. Thea) is assigned from FIS to be the guest speaker for PG PAUD UNS students of semesters 2, 4 and 6 in the event.
As an alumnus of PG PAUD UNS, Ms. Thea shared her experience of teaching in FIS EYP as a Nursery Class teacher. Through her presentation, she provided abundant knowledge of professional development and competence to the audiences of the event. She emphasized that Being Kind Curious and Brave are the fundamental competence along with being an independent learner to be acknowledged as a globally competent teacher. These values are the values she is exposed to during her moments as an FIS Teacher.
Not only presenting, in the 2-hour session, Ms. Thea also responded to the inquiries about the importance of early childhood education by focusing on providing the best learning experience to the passionate little learners in EYP. It is crucial to put the child as the center of learning itself. Therefore, a good school requires great competent teachers.
FIS is surely proud and excited to be part of the event by providing sufficient knowledge for students of PGPAUD, FIS will take part in preparing future teachers with global competence. ***
