Early Year 2 – English: Making Waves
EY2 students were learning about the sea and waves. On that day, children were introduced to how waves are formed and the types of dangerous waves such as waves created during a tsunami. They worked together to make waves by moving large parachutes together, up and down, to create big waves and small waves.
They also learned how to make a Mexican Wave by making certain movement in turn. They also actively discussed how to stay safe while at the beach. Learning by involving students directly will certainly make learning more effective and meaningful. ***
