Early Year 2 – Arts: Polar Bear Craft

Early Year 2 – Arts: Polar Bear Craft

EY2 students learned about animals from different environments, especially focusing on polar animals. They discussed the characteristics of these animals and explored whether they could survive in a tropical country like Indonesia. This activity encouraged students to think critically about how climate affects animals. They also discussed ways to protect polar bears and reduce global warming, connecting the topic to their daily actions.

In art class, students created polar bear artwork, using fine motor skills such as drawing, coloring, cutting, folding, and pasting. This activity not only promotes their fine motor skills but also helps students store knowledge in their memory and express it creatively, reinforcing their understanding of environmental issues and wildlife protection. ***
