Early Year 1 – Science: Mixing Earth Materials
EY1 students conducted a fun mixing earth materials experiment. They were asked to put some natural materials like sand, soil, pebbles, dried leaves, flowers, and twigs into the bottle in layers. Next, they were invited to add water and shake well to mix the contents.
They were so astonished to find out how the materials settled in layers and how water became clearer as the bottle stood without movement. Learning through experiment enhances the students to promote their sense of wonder as well as their critical thinking. ***
