Early Year 1 – Science: Exploration of Pull and Push
Continuing their learning about toys, EY1 students explored how to play with their toys correctly. They pulled and pushed the toy cars on different surfaces (rough and smooth). They were able to find that different surfaces had different effects on the speed of their toy cars. Students found out that the toy cars would move at a slow pace on the rough surface and vice versa.
By doing this activity, students had a chance to observe the differences between pulling and pushing; rough and smooth; and slow and fast through simple and fun experiments. ***
