Early Year 1 – IEYC Activity: Blast Off
Today was a special day for our EY1 students as they welcomed their parents into the classroom for a joyful and engaging learning experience. Together, children and parents participated in interactive games that reinforced key concepts from recent lessons. Laughter, teamwork, and excitement filled the room as families connected through meaningful, hands-on learning.
The fun continued with a creative activity where parents and children collaborated to design costumes for the upcoming class performance. Imagination soared as they brought to life astronauts, rockets, stars, the moon, the sun, and even aliens. These imaginative designs took center stage during the final performance, Blast Off. With confidence and enthusiasm, the children sang, danced, and acted out a space-themed adventure that beautifully showcased their month-long learning journey.
This memorable event brought numerous benefits: children felt proud and supported, building both confidence and communication skills; parents became active partners in the learning process, deepening their connection with their child and the school. For our community, it was a celebration of creativity, collaboration, and the joy of learning together. ***
