Early Year 1 – Entry Point: Blast Off
In the new unit of learning “Blast Off”, EY1 students were invited to learn simple ways about the solar system through the moonbeam character. They were so excited to work together to find the broken rocket that had landed on Earth. Through their finding, they also were given a chance to develop their empathy by putting some bandages on the moonbeam who got injured.
Moreover, this activity can stimulate students’ inquiry to find out more about where the moonbeam came from and what objects can be found in outer space. ***
