Early Year 1 – Entry Point: Animal Rescuer

EY1 students began their Animal Rescuer theme through an engaging entry point filled with real-life experiences. On the first day, they dressed for a mild climate and explored a “mini forest”, encountering animals from the jungle and grassland. On the following day, wearing warm clothing, they stepped into an “artificial polar zone” and learned about an urgent environmental issue: melting ice that threatens the survival of polar animals.

Through this activity, the students also practised simple problem-solving by choosing the right outfit for each environment. In a playful yet meaningful way, they not only discovered different habitats but also began to develop an early sense of care for the natural world.***
