Early Year 1 – English: Make a Postcard for Sunny
As part of this ongoing theme, the EY1 students were introduced to a character called Sunny from the Meerkat Mail story, who used to send a postcard to his family in English class. The students were also introduced to a postcard as a way of communicating by writing something and then sending it to the recipient. The students were also informed that when there were no gadgets like today, people used postcards to communicate.
At the end of the lesson, the students were asked to make a postcard by writing some initial letters from some pictures like camel, snake and meerkat. ***
