Early Year 1 – Bahasa Indonesia: Road safety in action!
Our EY1 students have been learning about the importance of self-care and road safety. After gaining knowledge in the classroom, it was time to bring their learning into real life. To do this, the children participated in a hands-on activity right in front of the school.
They observed the passing vehicles and were guided step by step on how to cross the road safely. With careful supervision, the students practiced looking both ways, waiting for the right moment, and walking mindfully across the street.
This meaningful experience not only reinforced what they had learned in class but also gave them the confidence to apply these skills in real-life situations. It was a valuable lesson in building awareness, independence, and responsibility from an early age. ***
