Early Year 1 – Arts: Making a Sunshine Craft
Students in the EY1 level joined the art lessons by making a simple sunshine craft. This activity was done as the learning confirmation as they had learned about the role of the sun in life like helping plants to grow and also helping the water cycle to go on. Moreover, the sunshine also reflected the happiness where people can do a lot of activities outside.
In that lesson, the students had to follow some step of making like crayoning a paper plate with yellow, pasting some paper as the rays, and pasting their own photograph in the middle of it.
This activity aimed to enhance students’ creativity, develop their fine motor skills, and improve their ability to follow instructions. It provided a fun and meaningful learning experience, helping students understand the sun’s role in sustaining life and bringing happiness. ***
