Baby Class – Manual: Mosaic Button Board Play
The babies looked thrilled to see the mosaic button boards in the classroom. The babies were assisted in grabbing the colorful buttons attached to the board and inserting them into the piggy bank. The mosaic buttons stimulated their visual and language competence in color recognition. As a part of the manual activity, the pincer grasp skill was also developed as they had to use their fingers, especially thumb, and pointer, to pinch the buttons and insert them into the piggy bank. ***
