Baby Class – Fine Motor: Fish Out The Shapes
As part of the learning theme “Colours and Shapes,” the babies were introduced to floating shape rings in water. They began by splashing the water and exploring the different shapes with their fingers, stimulating their curiosity and sensory development. Next, they were guided to fish out the floating shapes using a plastic fork, with gentle assistance to help them grip the fork properly.
This activity focused primarily on enhancing eye-hand coordination, an essential skill that will greatly benefit them in performing everyday tasks as they grow. The babies were fully engaged, enjoying the process while also building foundational motor skills in a fun, interactive way. ***
