Hi, I’m Ms Nice, a Secondary Maths teacher who loves making Maths fun, meaningful, and connected to real life.

I am grateful to grow together with FIS. FIS has taught me to see and appreciate every student’s potential and talents, rather than simply looking at their grades or academic results. FIS has also taught me to keep stepping out of my comfort zone and to embrace unlearning; letting go of old ways that may feel comfortable and being willing to learn and try better approaches that meet my students’ needs. There is no such thing as a student who is simply “smart” or “not smart.” Every student has their own strengths, ways of learning, and pace of growth. As a teacher, I continue to learn to be more flexible, open-minded, and willing to adapt. For me, being part of FIS is not only about helping students grow, but also about continuing to grow alongside them.
