Secondary: Healthy Eating on Wellnessday

From fruits to veggies, everyone in Secondary FIS showed great enthusiasm and active participation in the Wellnessday program. The event encouraged all Secondary students to bring a variety of vegetables to include in their meals.

The main goal of this program was to foster greater awareness among students about the importance of maintaining a balanced diet. By engaging students in the process of selecting and bringing their own healthy food, the school aimed to highlight the essential role vegetables play in supporting physical well-being.

Beyond raising awareness, another key objective of Wellnessday was to help students develop lasting healthy eating habits. The program served as a practical and memorable activity that reinforced the importance of making smart food choices each day. By encouraging students to include more vegetables in their meals, the school hopes to plant the seeds for a lifetime of thoughtful and nutritious eating.

The sight of students contributing with a wide variety of fresh vegetables reflected their understanding and support for the initiative. It was a day that not only promoted good health but also strengthened the sense of community across the school. ***
