Secondary 3 – OLP (Main Activity): Quality Education
After students have made a plan for OLP in the entry point, it’s time for them to carry out OLP according to their planned activities. During the main activity, students visited 2 museums. The first museum was chosen according to their interests, while the second was Lokananta Bloc, a music recording museum.
In this OLP, students were given opportunity to be independent learners. They should manage their own journey and learn in OLP. There were 5 groups with 5 students and 1 teacher as the facilitator. During the OLP visit, the students looked active in searching for the information. They took turns when conducting interviews with the tour guide and people in the workshop. Several students were seen observing the masterpiece collection. They looked enjoy throughout the learning.
This outdoor activity directed students to be independent learners, active communicators, and critical thinkers in the learning process. Overall, the OLP was fun, and the students looked forward to having their next outing activities. ***
