Secondary 3 – Maths: Moving Quiz
Secondary 3 students have recently completed lessons on scientific notation, exponents and fractions. To wrap up this exciting learning journey, they took part in a Moving Quiz designed to test both their speed and understanding.
In this activity, each student faced 10 different questions spread across the classroom. They rotated from one table to another, with only 4 minutes at each station to solve the problems. The questions ranged from recalling basic concepts to reflecting on deeper understanding, ensuring that every skill they had learned was put into practice.
The classroom atmosphere was full of energy. Students worked independently, showing focus, determination and enthusiasm as they tackled each challenge. The moving format made the quiz dynamic and engaging, turning assessment into an enjoyable learning experience.
Through this activity, students not only reviewed their knowledge but also built confidence in their ability to solve problems on their own. It was a great reminder that Mathematics can be both fun and meaningful when learned in creative ways. ***
