Secondary 2 – Visual Arts: Making Posters of International Landmarks
Secondary 2 students made a campaign poster with the theme ‘International Landmarks’. They were asked to choose one of the tourist destinations around the world and promote it through the poster. They did it in the form of group work. At the beginning of the lesson, they learned about how to draw the objects and design the poster interestingly.
The teacher also invited Ms. Andyka, the teacher of the Bahasa Indonesia lesson, she shared how to make a good poster and what is the content of a poster to the students as the additional knowledge in making the poster. They observed through the internet to find references about the tourist destination then they sketched their ideas on a piece of paper. In the next meeting, they started to make the poster with the paper provided by the teacher. They look enthusiastic to work with their group members to produce beautiful posters. ***
