Secondary 2: OLP Term 4
Secondary OLP Term 4 raised the theme “Quality Education,” which focused on providing real-world learning experiences outside of the regular school routine by utilizing current technology. Students were taken to experience meaningful learning by having observation and direct interaction.
The activities for OLP Term 4 took place in Jogja, specifically in Malioboro and the Diorama Arsip Jogja. These two locations were chosen as learning sources because they demonstrated technological developments that meet the current needs.
During their visit to Jogja, Secondary 2 students used modern public transportation systems such as the KRL, Trans Jogja buses, and online transportation services. Using public transportation allowed students to observe and interact with more people.
Secondary 2 students loved doing OLP. Having this OLP provided them with new experiences as they had to activate their bravery, curiosity, and kindness when they met new people. They were also excited when taking the public transportation in Jogja. Well done, students! ***
