Secondary 1 – Visual Arts: Geometric Cubism Painting
Secondary 1 students made Cubism painting on canvas media and other tools, like paper tape, acrylic paint, and a paintbrush. The students were given the freedom to set the design of the cubism and also the colors. At the beginning of the lesson, they were introduced to Cubism painting by exploring the internet to find some information and references to the painting.
Then, students start to design the Cubism on canvas using paper tape and color it using acrylic paint. In the next meeting, they start to peel off the paper tape from the canvas. The students need to do the steps properly to produce neat and good creations. ***
