Secondary 1 – Physics: Measurement Experiment

Secondary 1 students enthusiastically participated in a lively, hands-on experiment all about measurement. The session began with a flurry of curiosity as students used a stadiometer to record each other’s heights, sparking friendly comparisons and playful guesses.

Next, armed with measuring tapes, they ventured beyond the classroom to calculate the distance to the schoolyard, carefully stretching the tape along corridors and open spaces. The excitement continued as they measured the length of their classmates’ jumps, cheering each other on with every leap.

This interactive activity transformed a simple topic into an exciting learning adventure. By working directly with real measuring tools, students not only sharpened their skills but also discovered the fun side of Physics. The energy in the room was contagious, and by the end of the session, many were already buzzing with anticipation for their next Physics lesson. ***
