From the story of Supertato, students in toddler level then became little explorers. They touched different vegetables like carrots, broccoli, and onions. Some felt smooth, some felt bumpy, and some felt a little rough. The children used their hands to feel the textures and talked about how each vegetable felt.
Next, they looked closely at the vegetables. They saw bright orange carrots, green broccoli, and brown onions. They named the colours and said which ones they liked the most. They also smelled the vegetables and noticed that some had a soft smell while others had a stronger smell. They used their noses carefully and shared what they could smell.
Then, they pretended to be superheroes like Supertato with super smelling powers. They smelled coffee, tea, and lemon. The coffee smelled strong, the tea smelled gentle, and the lemon smelled fresh and a little sour. The children had fun using their “super noses” and describing each smell like real little superheroes.
