Toddler – Science: Exploring Hard and Soft Toys

Our Toddler scientists jumped into tactile exploration as they unlocked the world of sensory textures using their favorite classroom toys!

The young learners were introduced to contrasting properties—discovering what makes an object hard or soft through teacher demonstrations, gentle presses, and hands-on squishes! Putting their new vocabulary into action, toddlers took on a hands-on sorting challenge: touching each toy, evaluating its texture, and enthusiastically deciding whether it belonged in the “HARD” or “SOFT” collection zone.

By combining tactile play, decision-making, and early sorting, our toddlers built early scientific thinking, descriptive language, and physical confidence through sensory fun!
