In Science, P5 students learned about the Solar System and Space Exploration. Through the topic of The Earth and Beyond, they recognized that the Earth has two types of movement: spinning on its axis and orbiting the Sun while constantly spinning. The students identified the characteristics of each movement based on the information they had learned through Science Pupil’s Book 5. Students also know that many scientists have explored the Solar System and stars since ancient times. Although they could not reach these faraway places, they could explore them with the help of tools invented. Based on astronomy and space exploration history, the students created a timeline of space exploration devices. Students were excited about learning about the space. They realize that there are still many things to be discovered and explored. They might be one of them. ***
