Primary 5 launched Term 2 with an electrifying, high-stakes math adventure: a scavenger hunt challenge bridging last year’s core concepts with active problem-solving!
To conquer the course, students reviewed key formulas for square and rectangle perimeter/area, event probability, and angles. But there was a twist: base information and connected questions were separated across the space! Students had to invent brilliant strategies on the fly—whether writing notes, committing data to memory, or dashing back and forth—to solve multi-step, sequential puzzles.
By merging mathematical reasoning with information management and strategic decision-making, P5 experienced math as a dynamic, real-world journey rather than just rote memorization!
