On Friday and Monday, the students start their journey in Semester 2 with the warming up activities set by teachers to make them ready with the learning. One of the activities was cooking demonstration as one of the preparation activities for the Stopover that will be held in February. Students were also having some fun activities for preparing their Maths, Science, English, Bahasa Indonesia, IPS and IPC lessons.
During the cooking demonstration, the students learnt how to cook and use the cooking utensils safely and correctly. They tried to cut tempeh, tofu, and vegetables. They also saw the steps to cook vegetables soup and fried tempeh and tofu.
P4 teachers prepared those fun and light activities that could remind the students about the rules and routines at school. They also got chance to review the lessons they learnt in Semester 1. Students were also informed with the upcoming learning objectives and agenda so they will be ready and aware with their responsibilities.
By having those activities, students could refresh their minds after the long holidays. They also prepared themselves to be ready to have regular activities in Semester 2. Besides, students were also had prior knowledge so that they could prepare well with the learning activities in Semester 2. These activities also meant to expose students with the importance of preparation and planning. These skills are very beneficial for students’ future and facing everyday activity.
