On Monday, January 12th, 2026, Primary 4 students returned to school to welcome Semester 2 of the 2025–2026 academic year. Orientation Day was held joyfully at Manahan Stadium and classrooms. Students also wore BMC t-shirts for this orientation day.
The activities began with a healthy walk around the stadium area together with friends and teachers. After that, students took part in various fun mini games to celebrate the start of Semester 2. The students’ enthusiasm could be seen on this first day back to school. After the activities at Manahan Stadium were completed, students continued Orientation Day in the classroom. They made their New Year 2026 resolutions by writing them on New Year cards, which were then given to their friends.
The healthy walk and mini games aimed to improve physical fitness and strengthen togetherness among students. Through group games, students learned to work collaboratively, encourage one another, and follow the rules of the games in an orderly manner. The classroom activity taught students to set goals, express positive hopes, and appreciate their friends’ dreams. In addition, students also participated in a sharing stories session about their end-of-year holiday experiences in 2025, which made the classroom atmosphere warmer and more friendly.
In the end, Orientation Day provided a meaningful experience for Primary 4 students as it combined physical activities, social interaction, and self-reflection. Through this series of activities, students not only felt happy but were also motivated to start the year 2026 with renewed enthusiasm. The excitement and positive energy shown by the students became a strong foundation for building confidence, togetherness, and readiness to learn throughout the school year.
