P4 students took part in an engaging talk show about cyberbullying. The session featured a special guest speaker, Ibu Adriana, a lecturer from the Law Faculty of Sebelas Maret University of Surakarta. Before the talk show, the students explored the topic of cyberbullying in their classroom lessons. This foundation prepared them to dive deeper during the event, where they gained valuable insights into using online platforms responsibly, navigating the digital space safely and being good digital citizen.
The talk show was not just an informative session but an opportunity to empower students to take action. Following the event, P4 students extended their learning by conducting community service. They shared their knowledge to P5 students to spread awareness and inspire others.
The purpose of this learning experience went beyond just understanding cyberbullying. It aimed to teach empathy, responsibility and taking positive action, helping students become responsible and ethical digital citizens. By learning in class, engaging with experts and sharing their knowledge through community service, students develop a strong commitment to online safety and good behaviour.
This experience was brought to set student’s prior knowledge and basic foundation of social skills. It is a fundamental skill that can be applied in daily life. Students can also develop it for more advance needs in the future.
