Our Primary 4 reporters stepped into the shoes of newsroom journalists as they mastered recount texts and past simple tense!
Focusing on the recent Indonesia Event (IndEv), the young journalists gathered real facts about event preparations, stage performances, and interactive activities. Working like true professionals, students structured their findings into complete newspaper reports—crafting catchy headlines, organizing events chronologically, inserting direct quotes, and choosing photos with descriptive captions. After incorporating feedback and refining their past-tense grammar, P4 brought their final news articles to life!
By turning real-world school events into published reports, P4 built strong journalistic writing skills, structural organization, grammar accuracy, and reflective problem-solving!
