The impacts of travel and tourism becomes an interesting topic discussed in IPC lesson currently. Students initially discussed the topic by sharing their holiday experiences. They were given some driving questions such as “What were you doing when travelling”, “What was your best or worst experiences when traveling”. By answering those questions students gained the prior knowledge about travel and tourism as well as its impacts. The activity were continued by showing videos where students could identify the positive impacts of travel and tourism such as helping the local communities to build the economy around the tourist destinations and create jobs for locals. They could also tell the negative impact of travel and tourism in which the means of transportation can produce carbon emission contributing to global warming. By having this discussion, students can build their awareness towards the impact of travel and tourism especially for environment. ***
