Every time we learn something new, our brain forms new connection between neurons and makes existing neural pathway stronger. When we learn a new thing, we felt difficult at the first time because the neural pathway in our brain is still weak. However, by practicing continuously, the difficulties we face become easier as the connection between neuron in our brain get stronger. P3 students tried to prove it.
They were given challenge to make basketball mini toy from origami paper. This was the first time they made it and it was challenging. Many students failed to make it at the first time, but they didn’t give up. They needed to try over and over again until they succeeded. The purpose of doing this activity is to explain that when we learn something new, the neurons involved in the learning grow new projections and form new connections. It is also expected that students will not easily give up when they face difficulty in learning because the more they try, the stronger the brain connection is and everything will be easier. ***
