P2 students learnt about materials and their properties. To know the properties of materials, students were given a chance to test it out. Teacher had prepared some materials to be tested whether they could float on water or sink. There were coins, cork, eraser, marble, metal spoon, table tennis ball, plastic and metal straws.
Before the materials were tested, students were permitted to touch all materials and predict what would happen next as the evidence. Through the experiment done by students, they concluded that light materials float on water. ***
